He became a DJ by age 18, working the lively, vibrant pubs and clubs circuit in east London. Eventually he became part of Radio Never Say Die, a station that eventually served 96 countries worldwide. DJ Chilli took Radio Never Say Die on the road, and took up a residency at the long-time, well known music venue The Royal Standard in London. DJ Chilli’s popularity and knowledge of great music progressed, evolving into promoting live bands, including those from the 1970’s.
